In addition to his parents and grandmother, he is survived by his brothers and sister in law, Jason and Kelcye Crisp, Josh Crisp all of Robbinsville, NC; adoptive grandparents, William and Marlene Artrip; adopted sisters, Isabell Batts, Lindsey Batts; adopted brother, Anthony Lyons all of Robbinsville, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Chloe Phillips, Blake Powers, Paxton Waters, Jayce Crisp, Jazmin Crisp, Jaydin Crisp and Creed Crisp.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Lance Burke and Dana Dockery will officiate. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late William O. and Ethel Millsaps Lane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Birchfield, and her daughter Karen Birchfield.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Conda Irons Odom and Lewis “Slim” Odom, Phyllis and Noah Stewart, Brenda Burchfield all of Robbinsville, NC, Pam and Buddy Price of Dalton, GA; son and his wife, J.R. and Sherry Birchfield of Robbinsville, NC; sister and brother in law, Ondra and Ed Walker of Lafollette, TN; and brother and sister in law, Hugh and Missy Lane of Robbinsville, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Howard and Lenora Adams Hyde. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Roberta Hyde.

Gary was a retired Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served his country from July of 1970 till his honorable discharge in July of 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Eller Hyde; sons, Steven Hyde, Brandon Cook of Alcoa, TN; daughter, Monica Cook of Alcoa, TN; brothers, Larry Hyde of Robbinsville, NC, David Adams of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Geneva Thornton of Andrews, NC, Patricia Hydeof Robbinsville, NC, and Juanita Broussard of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Bo Thomas and Mickey Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Carver Cemetery where the US Marine Corp Funeral Honorswill conduct Flag Presentation and Military Funeral Honors.

Formerly of Washington, GA, but he has resided in Robbinsville permanently since 2012. He was the son of the late Richard and Shirley Ann Adams Davis.

Mike was a simple man with a giving heart. All his life he enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son who he loved dearly, Jonathan Davis and his wife, Taylor; two beautiful granddaughters, Hailey, and Morgan Davis; one grandson, Jameson Davis, whose arrival will be soon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debi and Waymon Johnson, and Annette and Jerry Campbell; his nieces and nephew, Evette Dunbar, Beth Phillips, Britney Cross and Brian Campbell. He is also survived by several dear friends that he deeply cherished.

He is survived by his wife, Ola Gladden Franklin; daughters, Devona Rae Finley (Eric) of Waynesville, NC, Sonya Kotila (Kenny) of Sylva, NC; his 2 granddaughters, which were his pride and joy, Karissa and Hayley Finley; brother, Boyd Franklin, his ham radio companion of TN, younger brother, Mark Franklin of Hayesville, NC, older sister, Phoebe Bateman (Howard) of Franklin, NC, twin sister, Reba Beck (Sam) of Hayesville, NC; step sons, Eddie Anderson, David Anderson, Dale Anderson, Jackie Anderson and step daughter Sue Adams all of Robbinsville, NC

. Ray had been an employee of Hensley Tire Company in Sylva for many years and retired from the maintenance department at Western Carolina University. He received training in woodworking and left many special creations for family and friends to enjoy. His faith grew and developed while attending church services at Valleytown Cemetery Chapel in Andrews, NC. Ray will be remembered for his interest in hunting, fishing, camping and his sense of humor as he talked with the many “radio buddies” he contacted all over the country. He will also be remembered for his faithfulness in frying potatoes and ramps at their annual ramp festival. Ray left a testimony of his faith in God giving comfort and peace to all those who loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend James Patterson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 till 6:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service. Committal Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Ashe Cemetery located on Ashe Loop off Fairview Road in Sylva, NC.

He was a native of Fort Atkinson, WI but has resided in Robbinsville for several years. He was the son of Norma Hammons Krizsan and the late James Krizsan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, William “Bill” Wolfram in 2021.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Krizsan, children, Lindsey Haynes of Hayesville, NC, Brady and Kelsey Krizsan of Robbinsville, NC, Kelsey Krizsan and Caleb Farley of Robbinsville, NC; sister, Shelley Foerster of Fort Atkinson, WI; his mother in law, Marilyn Wolfram of Robbinsville, NC, and 6 grandchildren, Kayden Grindstaff, Brayden Rogers, Kole Krizsan, Kayson Haynes, Brantley Krizsan, and Kenslee Krizsan.

Linda was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother to her family. She was brought into this world on April 8th, 1948, to the late Georgia and Lewis Smith of Robbinsville, North Carolina.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, Lewis C. Smith, and Georgia Rogers Smith; her husband Ray Lofty; her brothers and sister; Leroy Smith, Billy Smith, James Smith, Ricky Lofty and Carolyn Sellers.

Linda was a very caring person that always looked out for everybody. She never met a stranger and knew just about everyone. Linda loved to sing and play her guitar in her spare time. She loved telling stories of the past and could explain everything in so much detail. Her love for Jesus was expressed daily. She spent her last few years being a dedicated grandmother to her grand babies whom she loved all dearly.

Services will be held February 8, 2022, at the Townson Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will take place from noon to 2pm with the Funeral immediately following. Debbie was born March 26, 1955, in Murphy, N.C. She is the daughter of Ethel Beryl Hensley Sheffey and the late George Kent Sheffey.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dwayne Paul Cable of Robbinsville, N.C., son J. Brett Cable of Morehead, KY, son Austin B. Cable of Marble, NC, daughter Chandra A. Cable of Robbinsville, N.C. and daughter Alaina A. Cable of Waynesville, N.C. Additionally, she is survived by sister Pamela Sheffey & husband Travis Eller of Robbinsville, N.C. and brother Kevin B. Sheffey of Robbinsville, N.C. along with several nieces and nephews as well as one 3-month-old grandson, Lucas Dean Cable (son of Austin Cable & Jerri-Ann Sullivan).

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother L. Kent Sheffey of Robbinsville, NC.

Though retired since 2016, Debbie was a Dental Assistant for Patrick Kelley Dental Practice here in Robbinsville, N.C. for 10 years. Additionally, Debbie was an excellent singer hosting in international karaoke singing group for over 10 years. She enjoyed family excursions, gardening, international cruises and caring for her many rescued dogs, cats, and birds.

He served in the US Army for 2 years stationed in Italy during World War II. He was formerly employed at AC Lawrence Leather Co. A member of Lake Junaluska Baptist Church, he enjoyed family gatherings, working in his yard, and doing woodwork which he shared with his family. Also, in his later years he enjoyed watching the redbirds at his feeders.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 74 years, Ellovee "Ella" Mauck Riddle; sons, Jerry Riddle (Marta) of Canton, Stan Riddle (Anne) of Clyde, and Ronnie Riddle (Thomasine) of Sylva; daughters, Linda Aldredge and Lena McMillan, both of Waynesville; brothers, Steve Riddle (Opal) of Robbinsville and Dee Riddle (June) of Georgia; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, John Riddle and Maude Wiggins Riddle, 8 brothers and 4 sisters as well as a granddaughter, Brandi Riddle and an infant daughter, Wanda Riddle.

Paul was a devoted family man, and he will be dearly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 27, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Chris Willett officiating. He thoroughly enjoyed watching how God could change the color on his beloved mountains with each changing season, often saying “God sure can paint a purty picture.” Ted was born into a family in Graham County with deep roots, and he delighted in telling friends that he had 82 first cousins.

He will be lovingly remembered and survived by several nephews, nieces, neighbors, and friends.
