One Piece anime returned from its one-week break with a magnificent episode. It picked up from where it left off, with Kaido still in shock from Guernica's interference. The Yonko was reminded of the time when he fought Oden, and the samurai was distracted by Kurozumi Higurashi. The assassin knew that Kaido would appreciate his actions and accepted that he might not survive to see another day. Without wasting any time, Kaido leaped toward Guernica and landed a critical blow on the CP0 agent. With one problem taken care of, Kaido changed into his dragon form and decided to go down from the rooftop and pass judgment on those who dared to stand against him.
The entire alliance was in disbelief that Kaido managed to defeat Luffy. They knew what Kaido's victory meant, and they could either accept their punishment or die fighting. Nami was emotionally overwhelmed and decided to confront Kaido. The Yonko was not in the mood to fool around, so he attacked her using Blast Breath. Luckily, Marco was quick to intercept the attack, thus saving Nami from certain death. While the alliance was still shocked, Momonosuke and Yamato were still outside discussing their next move. Momonosuke was frightened, but Yamato was prepared to face his father again. As the episode drew toward its conclusion, fans saw Zunesha walking, and a sound seemed to have caught its attention. Zunesha spoke to Momonosuke and told him about the music that it could hear. The creature told him that it had last heard the sound centuries ago. When Momonosuke asked about the music, Zunesha replied that it could hear the "Drums of Liberation," and it confirmed that Joyboy had returned.

One Piece Episode 1071 will be released on August 6th, 2023. It is titled "Luffy's Peak - Attained! Gear Five." In the episode, fans will finally get to see the full power of Luffy. Many people wanted to know how the young pirate would recover, and they will have their answer in the upcoming episode. According to the title, Luffy's new form is called Gear 5th, and it is the zenith of his power. One Piece Episode 1071 will cover Luffy's newest transformation, which also happens to be his biggest one to date. In his Gear 5th form, Luffy should gain complete control over his Devil Fruit, and he should be able to extend his rubbery properties onto other objects. It seems that Gear 5th has certain qualities of Luffy's other transformations. In the teaser, Luffy was able to grab Kaido's ginormous body by increasing the size of his arm. This particular trait is limited to Gear 3rd. However, Gear 3rd only enables him to change the size of a particular part of his body. As Gear 5th offers him more freedom, Luffy should have no such limitation, and he should be able to transform into a giant completely.
When it comes to the animation of this particular episode, fans can rest assured that it is going to be the best one in the entire series. There are many talented animators working on all the Gear 5th episodes, so the entire stretch will be nothing short of legendary. However, the next episode, in particular, is going to be one for the history books as Luffy unlocks his best power up. There are already debates about whether it can surpass Son Goku's iconic transformation or not. While it may be too early to answer this question, there is no doubt that Gear 5th is the only genuine contender to overtake the Saiyan transformation.
