How do you get into Blackrock Depths? ›

Location. Blackrock Depths is located inside the lowest part of Blackrock Mountain. To reach it, you will need to cross the chain to the central island, then follow the path downward to a ledge just above the lava. Follow the ledge into and through the Grinding Quarry to find the instance portal.

To get to BRD, enter Blackrock Mountain from either southwest Searing Gorge or northwest Burning Steppes. If you enter from Searing Gorge, climb up on the giant chain that appears to your left and go down onto the big rock suspended in the center. Follow the stairs down and exit downwards onto the chain at the bottom.

For those looking for the entrance to Blackrock Caverns (or more likely, where to pick up your corpse), enter Blackrock Mountain then head towards the hallway that leads to Blackrock Spire, on the east side (should find a summoning stone there that labels the entrance as BRS).

This key will allow you access to the entirety of the Blackrock Depth instance. The chain to obtain this key starts with the quest called Dark Iron legacy, which you must obtain while dead.

After the patch this was no longer needed, as the door that lead to Upper Blackrock Spire was now permanently open. To enter the Upper Spire, use the same raid entrance as the Lower Spire and follow the left wall as you enter. You will ascend a small flight of stairs and into a hall with smaller side chambers.

Nestled deep within the core of Blackrock Mountain, Blackrock Depths (BRD) is the former capital of the Dark Iron Dwarves who are led by Emperor Dagran Thaurissan. This five-man dungeon is the definition of immense as it will take several hours for groups to fully clear.

BRD is a hard instance mabye... its the lenght and even if u use shortcut it can still take 2-3 hours.

Nefarian lairs in upper Blackrock Spire, the part of Blackrock Mountain that is above ground. Blackrock Depths is the part underneath the mountain.

To get to Blackrock Foundry, head over to Northern Gorgrond, in Draenor. Blackrock Foundry entrance is at 51.4, 28.7.

Take the right path at the intersection and follow it through Lakeshire. Keep Riding northwest into Burning Steppes. Ride north to Horde FP and then West to Blackrock Mountains. Emerge in Searing Gorge and keep going North to Thorium Point for FP.

Where is Black Rock Caverns in WoW? ›

The entrance is just off of the main ring in Blackrock Mountain on the non-jumping path to Blackrock Spire. Head to the eastern side of the ring to see the summoning stone for Blackrock Spire and follow the path in toward that instance. As it turns north there is a blockade blocking the way.

Go down through Forgewright's Tomb until you reach another chain. Go down that chain and then into the brick structure/doorway you'll see (turn right when seeing the blood elf, Riftwalker something or other, I think). Head through this area. It's pretty much straight with a tiny job to the right at one point.

Deep inside the Blackrock Depths instance. Right before the bridge that crosses the lava toward the Molten Core instance portal.

The entrance is located through a balcony on the northwest(ish) side of the ring inside Blackrock Mountain (you know you're in the right area if it says “The Molten Span” on your mini-map).

Attunement to the Core (Molten Core)

To attune yourself to Molten Core, you're required to complete the quest Attunement to the Core. This quest requires you to venture deep within Blackrock Depths and obtain a Core Fragment, next to the actual raid entrance.

Blackrock Spire is an instance, which, as previously indicated, can be entered by traveling into Blackrock Mountain and going up the chain that would normally lead you down towards Blackrock Depths.

To get to Magmus, you'll need to get two shadowforge torches from the nearby Shadowforge Flame Keepers, and use them on the two braziers in that room to open the doors.
