What You'll Do...
The Marketing Coordinator assists the Marketing + Creative team by supporting efficiencies & positive relationships between the department & retail teams. This includes ensuring brand standards are upheld; processes & promotions are aligned with the national brand, communicated, understood & followed internally; & that all marketing programs are executed with accuracy & care within the deadline.
In this role you will learn our marketing best practices, help monitor marketing program effectiveness, support accountability at the showroom level & help educate team members on how to properly execute marketing initiatives.
As a Marketing + Creative team ambassador, this individual must be a people person with a positive attitude. This position requires an ability to receive information, process it efficiently with autonomy & coordinate movement across showroom teams & corporate support departments. Excellent verbal & written communication skills are necessary to comfortably & confidently communicate in various forms, settings & situations.
Additionally, You’ll:
Coordinate local marketing needs, such as digital reputation, VIP Eventsk & prospecting efforts
Assist with retail-related document creation &/or editing
Gather, organize & create information for internal publications
Assist with organization of events & promotional information
Organize department’s proactive check-ins with showroom leadership & corporate support departments, as well as monitor incoming department communication channels; respond to general marketing needs
Assist marketing-related new hire communication
Coordinate with showrooms on visual brand standards compliance
Logistical tasks for in-store programs, such as digital reputation efforts
Assist with public relations & community partnerships
Monitor & update the company’s digital information
Maintain retail-related department files, data & other administrative work as needed
What We're Looking For...
Available to occasionally travel within the company footprint
Demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills, as well as confidence needed to uphold company marketing processes & standards
Possess technological acumen for working frequently within digital communication platforms
Familiarity with, or willingness to quickly learn, basic Adobe Creative Suite functions
Familiarity with, or willingness to quickly learn, Microsoft SharePoint
An underlying appreciation for the arts and creative work, while also recognizing the importance of our balanced approach using data in marketing decision-making
Comfortable communicating with showroom leadership (mostly digital; occasionally in person)
Accept direction from leadership with ease
Must be an eager learner, willing to learn on the job
Ability to adapt & respond to change
Demonstrate excellent time management skills, as marketing promotions run on hard deadlines with many moving pieces that must align well in advance of in-store start dates
Ability to coordinate & document post-production creative workflows
Ability to handle inbound communication (including, but not limited to Marketing + Creative Outlook inbox, Teams chat, Basecamp, Wufoo) & other administrative duties
Previous experience in both marketing & a retail environment is ideal
Background or education in marketing, communications, English, or other liberal arts is a bonus
