It’s official. Social media sensation Noah Beck and Dixie D’Amelio of “the first family of TikTok,” have ended their two-year relationship.
After officially announcing their relationship in October 2020, the viral couple was known to show off their love on social media, as well as stand up for each other when faced with backlash from haters. They even made multiple appearances together on Dixie’s family’s Hulu series, The D’Amelio Show. Earlier this year, the couple chose to take their relationship offline, but in recent months, rumors surfaced that the social media darlings had split. Without official confirmation from neither Dixie nor Noah, fans questioned the status of their relationship. But on November 9, it was confirmed that they’re broken up for good. 💔
As we look back on Doah’s relationship together, we compiled this timeline so you can reminisce on Noah and Dixie’s romantic journey.
November 9, 2022: Noah and Dixie’s breakup is confirmed
After weeks of speculation, it’s official. Noah and Dixie have called it quits after two years together. Noah’s publicist, Larissa Saenz, confirmed the split to The New York Times on November 9. “We can confirm that the pair are no longer together but remain close friends,” she wrote in an email. Dixie has not commented on the breakup.
In season 2 of The D'Amelio Show, Dixie revealed to her parents that she and Noah had broken up and that she felt “very stressed” about the situation. But in late September — after filming had wrapped on the season — Dixie shut down rumors that she and Noah had ended things. However, since they didn’t post content of each other online, and rarely attended events together over the past year, questions of are-they or are-they-not together continued to swirl.
Alas, this chapter has ended for the social media starlets. 😢
October 12, 2022: Noah addresses their rumored split
From the looks of things, the temporary break between the two TikTok stars that was addressed on The D'Amelio Show seems to have turned into a permanent break-up. In a clip from Noah's podcast with Larri Merritt, also known as Larray, Put a Sock In It, Larray asked, "I mean, what are your thoughts on dating? How do you feel?" to which Noah playfully flipped him off. But Larray continued to prod, "Isn't it public now? How's single life?"
"I don't even know. I'm living alone right now, I got a new place by myself, I'm like, I'm content at home," explained Noah. Neither Noah nor Dixie have given official confirmation on why, when, or how they broke up, but it seems like the couple has been working through the complicated situation that caused their split.
October 5, 2022: Dixie explains why she and Noah briefly broke up
One week after Dixie revealed on Hulu's The D'Amelio Show that she and Noah broke up, she's delving into the reasons why.
"Right now, I think there's too many feelings, and, like, I don't know. It's very complicated," she explained to her parents Heidi and Marc D'Amelio in episode three.
"Noah and I are broken up, privately, off the Internet," Dixie continued in a solo interview. "I've definitely cried a lot over the whole situation, but it's very helpful that nobody knows."
Back in a conversation with her parents, Dixie explained that she and Noah both need to time to think, and that work is her "top priority." Noah would get frustrated that Dixie wasn't prioritizing her time with him as much as he was, she explained.
"I think both Noah and I are on the same page," she continued. "We were just both getting very frustrated for, um, a lot of reasons. It wasn't worth it. We don't want to see the other one upset. So, we were like, 'Yeah, let's just step back.'"
September 28, 2022: Dixie reveals in The D'Amelio Show that she and Noah briefly broke up
Season 2 of The D'Amelio Show is currently airing on Hulu, and on September 28's episode, Dixie shocked viewers after admitting that she and Noah had broken up.
"Noah — I don't know what's going on with that," she says to her parents, Heidi and Marc D'Amelio at one point. "I feel like I'm very stressed out about the whole situation. We're not really talking right now. We've come to that conclusion that we just shouldn't talk for a little bit, but we're broken up."
"Dixie and I are kind of in a little rough patch right now," Noah shared with his roommate, Markell, earlier in the episode. "It sucks, but we literally are best friends. It's just at a time right now where we're both so busy. It's just [this] weird, constant cycle of like, we barely get time to see each other and I don't want us to get to a point where we stress each other out."
The episode ended on the cliffhanger of Dixie telling her parents about her and Noah's relationship status, but of course, the two have been seen out and about since this was filmed (see below). And Dixie has debunked breakup rumors as recently as last week. During an event at New York Fashion Week, the singer and TikTok starlet told People that she and Noah are "much happier" after taking their relationship offline. We'll have to wait until next week's episode to see how this all unfolds.
September 22, 2022: Dixie shuts down rumors that she and Noah have broken up following her hair transformation
ICYMI, Dixie debuted a freshly buzzed 'do for New York Fashion Week, trading her signature long locks for a close-to-scalp style. Fans were quick to theorize that this major change was due to Dixie and Noah possibly having broken up, with the pair not being seen together despite attending the same NYFW event on September 12. Dixie has now put those rumors to bed in a recent People interview, where she discussed her relationship with Noah.
When asked how the pair have been since taking their relationship offline, Dixie said, "We're so much happier. We have so much more fun by not posting [our relationship]."
Dixie adds, "People don't need to know what's going on, and they have no right to know. It's not like we have a relationship account that they're following. They're following us as [individual] people."
September 12, 2022: Dixie and Noah head to the same New York Fashion Week event solo
No red carpet PDA pics this time around (sad face). Dixie and Noah were both spotted attending the Karl Lagerfeld, NYFW celebration for the new Cara Loves Karl Capsule Collection, but surprisingly the two didn't seem to interact.
Since Dixie dispelled breakup rumors recently at the MTV VMAs, we hope that this separation on the red carpet has to do with them taking their "relationship off social media." Here's to hoping these cuties caught up with each other once they were inside the venue!
August 28, 2022: Dixie addresses rumors that she and Noah have broken up
Dixie is setting the record straight when it comes to her and Noah's relationship. The pair were rumored to have broken up, with Noah not attending Dixie's 21st birthday party further fueling the gossip.
Speaking to PEOPLE on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, the TikTok starlet said "As we've said like a million times, we've decided to take our relationship off social media."
D'Amelio explained that the decision is "better for our mental health," as social media "obviously" causes "a lot of drama no matter what we do."
Even though the two are keeping busy "working on ourselves and working on our careers," the couple still tries to make time for each other, with Dixie saying "we love each other."
August 11, 2022: Noah explained why he did not celebrate Dixie's birthday in Las Vegas
For her 21st birthday weekend, Dixie celebrated the big day in Las Vegas with her besties. The singer and social media star documented the fun on her Instagram Stories, but notably absent from her snaps was Noah.
On Thursday, one day before Dixie’s 21st, Noah took to Twitter to address recent internet backlash and explain the reason why he was not with his girlfriend on her birthday.
“Work has held me back from attending the fun in Vegas. A lot of the work that is done behind the scenes, the stuff that makes all this other stuff possible,” he wrote in a lengthy statement. “As consumers of our content, please stop assuming the worst between us. We are both very hardworking and we understand that with being or striving for success, comes a lot of sacrifice. However, it’s the communication between us, that you guys don’t see, that keeps the bond strong. We are both kids that got thrown into this industry just trying to figure it out. We need the help of people who support/love us to bring us up and not down.”

We can thank Dixie's sis Charli D'Amelio for this one! Charlie posted a carousel of super cute pics to Instagram from Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin's Independence Day party in the Hamptons. Our fave TikTok couple Dixie and Noah made a guest appearance in the collage a couple of times.
April 16, 2022: Dixie and Noah finally post another TikTok together
The seemingly endless drought of Dixie and Noah social media appearances finally ended. Just like every other hot influencer and mega celeb, these lovebirds flocked to the desert to hear some tunes at Coachella.Noah posted a cute video of him lip-dubbing to the words "This is my song," with Charli D'Amelio and Avani Gregg dancing in the background. Dixie appeared in the video as well, laughing at Beck and co's antics.
March 3, 2022: Dixie discussed balancing her career with love
Dixie D'Amelio is officially taking her music career to the next level by embarking on a national tour with boyband Big Time Rush, but time apart from her beau Noah Beck doesn't mean their romance will suffer. The 20-year-old told E! News that she's known how to balance work and her relationship "from the beginning" of her career. "I think that's just a part of life," she explained. "You work and you see each other when you can. And everyone's busy, so, we'll make it work." However, that doesn't mean Noah won't support her at a show. "I love having my family and my friends [in the crowd]," she told the outlet.
February 14, 2022: Dixie and Noah take a step back from the spotlight
Since confirming their relationship in October 2020, Noah Beck and Dixie D’Amelio have shared some of their sweetest moments on social media, from celebrating birthdays and anniversaries to traveling the world together.
But now, the couple has decided to step back and keep most of their moments out of the limelight. While attending the Coach show at New York Fashion Week on Monday, February 14, Noah explained to E! News why he and Dixie are seeking a more low-profile relationship.
“I've been telling a lot of people we're kind of keeping things offline,” he told the outlet. “And since we've been doing so, it's been good. It's been kind of like a weight off the shoulder in a way.”
“We kind of just enjoy time together rather than like seeming like we do it for our fans, in a sense. We're doing it for each other and that's what it's all about,” he continued.

August 19, 2022: Noah spoke out about Dixie's ex
Over a year after Dixie ended things with former Sway Boy Griffin Johnson, Noah spoke out about Dixie's relationship with her ex, saying he was never really convinced by it.
"I don't know everything about girls—no one does. But I would see the way that they were together, and I was like, this doesn't seem like they want to be around each other, and it doesn't seem real, to be honest," he said in an interview with GQ. Noah also admitted he "never had a good relationship" with Griffin, even when they were in Sway together, but he did try to respect Dixie's relationship while it was going on.
Of course, as we now know, not long after Dixie and Griffin broke up, Dixie and Noah got together and they became one of the biggest couples on TikTok, though Noah insists that has nothing to do with why he is dating Dixie. "I don't want to use Dixie for clout," he said. "I could care less about that. I love her for her."
The TikTok star then went on to list exactly what he loves about his girlfriend. "The reason I love Dixie so much is that she's my best friend, and when we hang out, I just feel like I'm hanging out with my friend, but she's also...she's very attractive," he said. "I always tell her she has a dry sense of humor. She'll make a joke and not laugh, whereas I have golden retriever energy." Dixie also shared her favorite things about Noah, saying, "Noah gives attention to everyone else before himself. He’s always making sure everyone else is comfortable and happy. No matter who they are and if he knows them well or not. It’s super sweet how selfless he is always."

August 12, 2021: Noah dedicated sweet birthday message to Dixie
Noah used the occasion of Dixie's 20th birthday as an opportunity to share a sweet message to his girlfriend on Instagram. The TikTok star shared a carousel of never-before-seen images with his girlfriend with the cutest caption.
"HBD to the girl that makes my world go round<3 everyone go wish her a happy bday!!" he wrote.
But he didn't stop there. Noah also made sure others sent Dixie love on her big day. "Go wish this cute lil mf a happy birthday," he wrote on his story alongside of photo of Dixie from his post.
April 15, 2021: Noah guest starred on Dixie's podcast
Noah joined Dixie on her podcast, Charli and Dixie: 2 Chix, to discuss...well, Doah of course. The couple answered questions from their fans, including how Dixie reacted when Noah said he loved her for the first time.
The moment happened on the set of Dixie's music video for "Be Happy." As you probably know, Noah guest-starred in the vid, so the pair had to shoot some scenes together.
"The cameras were rotating around us and [the crew] was like, 'Be normal. Talk how you would in this situation,'" Noah said. "So we were just chatting and then there was a little awkward silence and you were like, 'You literally hate me'...and I was like, 'Stop, I literally love you.'"
Dixie didn't say anything in response. "I thought it was a complete accident so I didn't want to say it back," she explained, but this, of course, left Noah feeling so awkward. After the scene was over, the pair talked and Dixie asked Noah if he meant it. He explained that he did, but he didn't mean it to come out that way.
"You were like, 'Aw,' and then you didn't say anything until like 45 minutes later," Noah said. Finally, when Noah wrapped shooting, he started getting ready to head home. At that point, Dixie finally came up to him and said she loved him too.
"If I would have drove home...knowing that you didn't say it back, I would have been so embarrassed," Noah admitted. Luckily, though, Dixie said it just in time!
October 26, 2020: Noah celebrated 1 month anniversary with Dixie
While we were speculating about the nature of Dixie and Noah's relationship for what feels like forever, in reality, the pair has only been dating for a month. Noah celebrated the anniversary with an Instagram post, professing his love for his girlfriend.
But Noah isn't the only one dropping the l-word. Dixie admitted that she loves Noah on an episode of her YouTube show. While interviewing Jaden Hossler, he asked her if he could say that she loves Noah, to which Dixie answers "yes."
Awww love is truly in the air for Doah.
October 8, 2020: Noah discussed his relationship with Dixie
Noah and Dixie are finally confirmed to be dating, but why did it take so long for them to go public? Well, Noah explained that, originally, the plan was to keep their relationship a secret, but that didn't work out too well.
"I was kind of more out there and it just seemed like she kept friend-zoning me," Noah told Hollywood Fix. "People were like, 'Damn, she doesn't like him,' and I was at home, just sitting there like, 'If only they knew.'"
Noah explained that part of the reason why they were hesitant to announce things was because of Dixie's ex, Griffin Johnson. Apparently Dixie "100%" had her guard up following that relationship. "I didn't want to rush anything," Noah said.
Eventually, the pair decided it was time to confirm the rumors, and Noah seems really happy about finally being public. "It's awesome," he said. "She's dope."
October 6, 2020: Dixie and Noah are officially dating
We finally have the news we've been waiting for. Noah has confirmed that he and Dixie are a whole couple! In an interview with AwesomenessTV shared exclusively with Seventeen, Noah had the most adorable smile as he told the world they're together. "Dixie is amazing, she is an awesome girl. It's been really fun, and so I'm excited for the future with her."
October 5, 2020: Noah has Dixie as his phone background
As we all know by now, Noah claims that his and Dixie’s music video kiss was just for the song. Why then, is a screenshot of their kiss Noah's phone background?
Yup, some eagle eyed fans noticed that Noah has chosen to look at their kiss every time he opens his phone. Of course, this got everyone talking.
"If y’all are dating, just say that," one person commented on the TikTokRoom's post. "What happened to being a couple of besties?" asked another.
Neither Dixie nor Noah have commented on this new evidence, but personally, I'm going to need more info.
September 27, 2020: Noah guest starred on Dixie's show
Noah was a guest on an episode of Dixie's YouTube talk show. While the questions Dixie asked him were fun and lighthearted, everything changed when Noah turned the tables.
Noah began asking Dixie all kinds of flirty questions: if he asked her out, what would she say, what can I do to make you mine, and more. She said no to the first question, but laughed her way through most of the others.
September 21, 2020: Dixie's ex shaded Noah and Dixie
Dixie's ex, Griffin, dropped a song called "Convenient," which totally seems like it's all about his breakup with Dixie. In the song, not only does he name drop Noah, but he also sings the line, "You said you're just friends but you're wearing his clothes."
September 20, 2020: Noah played Dixie's love interest in her music video
Dixie released her new music video for the "Be Happy" remix. The video features Noah as her love interest and at one point, they full on make out! Throughout the video, the pair looks super coupley and, honestly, completely adorable together.
Noah, though, told paparazzi that the kiss in the video didn't mean anything. "It's called a music video," he said. The paparazzi then asked if this means that he is officially dating Dixie now. "No, it's a music video. That's it," he responded.
September 16, 2020: Noah dueted a video ad for Dixie's music video
Noah dueted a video on TikTok advertising Dixie's new music video. In his vid, he seems super excited, mouthing, "go bestie."
September 13, 2020: Charlie shut down Noah and Dixie dating rumors
Charli does her part in shutting down the dating rumors. When Hollywood Fix asked her what was going on between Dixie and Noah, she said, "They're friends." She continued, saying, she would have told the paparazzi if something was going on between them. "I don't lie to you," she joked.

July 2020: Dixie ended things with Griffin Johnson
Dixie officially became single after ending things with Griffin Johnson in July. While nothing was ever confirmed, it seems like Dixie accused Griffin of cheating on her, saying she has "48 screenshots" to prove it. Dixie then posted a video on her YouTube titled, "My Last Date with Griffin," confirming the split.
