Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 255 leaks managed to break the curse of death by bringing back characters we thought were dead already. Maki and Choso were heavily injured and we had no idea of what was going on in the backdrop of the battle. In such times, Yuji and Yuta who were also thrown out of the battlefield and were deemed incapable enough to face Sukuna. While this was already hard enough to endure for the fandom, Kusakabe was further put to trial and Ui Ui was going to be unalived.

1. Miguel and Larue – old pals reunited against their greatest nightmare

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 255 begins with Miguel on the battlefield being joined by Larue, an old gang member who used to be an ally during Geto’s times. Larue also managed to retrieve Kusakabe from the battlefield using his technique. The chapter then dives into a flashback where Miguel is seen discussing the plan of action with Yuta in the past.

Miguel initially rejects Yuta’s proposal to join the battle against Sukuna, however, he eventually agrees saying that he will only fight against the monster after Gojo and Yuta lose and once Sukuna’s domain cannot be used. He also says that he wants Larue to fight with him and accompany him during battle.

JJK 255 leaks then comes back to the present day, where Miguel and Larue observe that Sukuna is unable to use his domain and is heavily injured with a bleeding heart. Larue uses his Cursed Technique to grab a hold of Sukuna and slams him against a wall. Larue’s CT is termed as ‘Heart Catch’, a technique that allows him to summon an imaginary hand to grab the opponent. If the hand is destroyed, it can be restored with Larue being inflicted with ten percent of that damage.

Just when Sukuna sends slashes flying towards Miguel and Larue, the former easily dodges them and jumps between them, revealing that his Cursed Technique ‘Hakuna Lana’ alllows him to catch a rhythm of the opponent’s curses and easily dodge them while enhancing his physical abilities. The technique brings out Buffs and Debuffs of himself and the opponent without the use of a domain. This is something that Sukuna finds very attractive, but it is simply not powerful enough to defeat him.

Moreover, Gojo once said that Miguel has extraordinary physical strength that doesn’t arise out of cursed energy. His skeletal structure and muscles allow him to exert a great deal of energy compared to a Japanese sorcerer.

Maki Zenin, the blood-crazed and battle-hardened lioness, has a disturbingly horrifying smile on her face during Jujutsu Kaisen 255. She has survived Sukuna’s Black Flash and has chosen to give him a tough time again. At this moment, Yuji runs towards Sukuna hoping that he would defeat him with his bare hands when the monster is still unable to use his domain or perform any hand signs to summon any other CT.

Just when all hopes were up and the stakes were high, Sukuna chooses to break all excitement and land another Black Flash on Larue. It is now believed that two consecutive Black Flash could result in a reactivation of RCT. While that had already happened with Gojo Satoru, the same phenomenon repeating itself with Sukuna sounds like a long shot.

With two consecutive Black Flash, the King of Curses might have finally unlocked the doors that were restricting him. Moreover, JJK 255 has also hinted towards Larue’s death, but it has not been explicitly shown in the chapter. This is a very crucial point in the story.

From this moment on, if Sukuna regains RCT, he will be an untouchable in this war and no amount of power would be able to stop him. Moreover, if he doesn’t regain his RCT, Gege would recover that suspense with the death of Larue. This is a bet we are going to have to make and a consequence we are going to have to wait for.
