We stopped into purchase a wok that will be used to cook outside. This is the second one that we have purchased from this particular store. One of them we gave is a gift . The one we got today is huge and made of really good material.Everyone is nice when you walk in. The store is always clean and the shelves always seem to be stocked pretty well .This particular store has almost everything you would think should be in a store like this - from kitchenware to seafood to spices to meds. You can also get a hot meal in their deli type area with seating . There is lots of fresh seafood , on ice, in the back in the back of the store. The store is kid friendly and shares the parking lot with many other stores. It is in a shopping center right off of Rivers Avenue. Plenty of assessable parking is available.

H&L is a great local Asian grocery store that's the largest in the Charleston area. It has variety and a huge selection of products imported directly from South and Southeast Asia, including fresh produce, frozen goods, meats, and fish. I've seen food from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippians, Taiwan, and Malaysia here, and they even have a small section dedicated to Mexican goods as well.Aside from food, they have an extensive section dedicated to appliances (rice cookers, hot plates) and a lot of porcelain vases, statues, and other decorations. They have a lot of products for the kitchen too, such as soup spoons, chopsticks, forks, napkins, plates, etc.I'd say the only place they're lacking is alcohol. They used to have a decent selection, but these days they only have some Chinese and Japanese beers, and a couple of brands of sake. The location isn't great, though I don't hold that against them. The store is an old Bi-Lo and you can tell, the old artwork on the walls and even the aisle signs are still the same. There is a great restaurant inside called Pho #1. It's a genuinely great Vietnamese place, and I love going to eat there when I'm done shopping. They also have a small kiosk off to the side that offers phone repairs, but I've never used it before.Overall, this is a great Asian grocer that offers a lot. It's got the biggest selection of any Asian grocery store in the Lowcountry (perhaps all of South Carolina), it's not too expensive, and there's a great restaurant attached to it.

Best place for the best food and snacks. I usually go here to get Mogu Mogu and they have it in the larger version. Since Saigon only has the small Mogu Mogu’s I go here to get the larger ones.

always love coming here, shelves are neatly stocked and the floor is clear of boxes, shelves and fridges are all full. they have a wide selection of sauces and ingredients for many kinds of asian cuisine. they also have a fresh seafood market selling fish/shrimp on ice, and you can find unique products for sale. they have cookware, ingredients for sushi, wraps, stir fry, marinades, snacks, drinks, and a variety of noodles: instant, frozen or fresh. the prices are a little high but it is the typical rate at any asian mart in US. The staff aren’t too conversational, but they get the job done well. 👍🏽👍🏽 i always recommend others to come here. they also have a small corner restaurant with seating inside the entrance

This is a legit asian grocery with fresh noodles and seafood and all the crazy vinegars and sauces and produce and snacks. The only thing ill say on the negative is watch the area and parking lot. It is still worth the trip dont get me wrong but just keep and eye and shop in the daylight.

Yesterday was my birthday and I had the day off, so I planned a tour of culinary delights. I started here, because I have been meaning to check this market out for some time. This place is amazing! Aisles loaded with every variety of Asian fresh, bottled, canned, and dry good! It is extremely well-organized and has nice wide aisles. Masks are still required, which I appreciate.I didn't bring a cooler so I had to walk past so many delectable refrigerated and frozen treats and the incredible seafood section, but I will be back for them another day! I did grab a jar of kimchi that looked irresistible and stayed cool til I got it home. There are plenty of regular kitchen staples, so I grabbed some garlic I needed too. Loaded up on spicy Ramen and fun snacks and then I found the canned and bottled beverages! I want to try one of everything, so this will definitely require multiple visits. There are oils and vinegars and sauces and dressings, herbs and spices and coffees and teas! Dried rosebuds and lavender, just so much glorious stuff, and reasonably priced. There's a huge kitchen section with quality restaurant necessities like woks and salt shakers and strainers and sake cups and just everything you can think of. You can bring your own bags or they will give you a box like at Costco. I ended up with a pretty big box LOLCan't wait to try all my goodies and go back for more! You'll find all your old and new favorites here. It's a true treasure!
